Government of Canada programme might be useful to demonstrate marine renewables

A couple of years ago a “first market” programme was reintroduced in Canada which enables federal departments and agencies to be first adopters of new technical approaches. Coastguard, Indian Affairs and National Defense might well have situations that would enable marine energy projects. We have not yet seen any success, but we are not sure whether members have looked at this thoroughly:

This program seeks innovative entrepreneurs’ solutions and provides them a means to “test” their project viability by selling prototypes to the government.
