Held under the theme “Powering Canada’s Clean Energy Future,” this year’s Conference will take place in Canada’s national capital – bringing the marine renewables sector to the heart of federal decision-making. As the national association for offshore wind, tidal, wave, and river current energy, MRC is convening industry, government, and partners in Ottawa to elevate the role of marine renewables in Canada’s energy future, strengthen collaboration with policy leaders, and accelerate sector growth at a national scale. The 2026 Conference & Exhibition comes at a pivotal moment, as Canada takes tangible steps toward developing its first offshore wind projects, tidal energy enters a new phase of advancement, and momentum builds to deploy marine renewables in remote and Indigenous communities. Grounded in MRC’s Sector Vision 2050, the event will highlight the long-term pathway to scale marine renewable energy across Canada and unlock its full economic and environmental potential.
