Anastasia is a strategic communications leader and community builder with nearly 15 years of experience, including eight years in Canada’s renewable energy sector. She specializes in developing high-impact communication strategies that strengthen organizational narratives, support advocacy and policy goals, and enhance stakeholder engagement.
As a Senior Director of Communications, Anastasia leads efforts to elevate Marine Renewables Canada’s brand profile, expand national and international visibility for the sector, and deliver high-impact communications that support industry growth. Her work includes shaping strategic messaging, overseeing major campaigns, and advancing MRC’s position as the trusted voice for Canada’s marine renewable energy industry.
Prior to joining Marine Renewables Canada, Anastasia managed bilingual communications at the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA), led brand development and launch activities for the Canadian Renewable Energy Association (CanREA), and served as Director of Communications at WaterPower Canada. Across these roles, she has been recognized for her ability to translate complex industry issues into clear, compelling messages that mobilize partners and inspire public support.
Anastasia brings a global perspective shaped by experiences in Siberia, San Francisco, Moscow, and Canada, along with a strong commitment to continuous growth and mission-driven work.
She holds a Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Ottawa.
